Demetria
James Carr
 Demetria
Carr has a passion
for the Arts and for the city of Providence. She’s
the Associate Producing Director at RIIFF and creates
events, participates in marketing and developing community awareness. Demetria
brings experience from Rhode Island Monthly Magazine
and Vegetarian Times in Chicago. For 10 years she was an integral
part of Festival Ballet Providence where she sat
on the Board of Directors. Demetria is also Past President of
Friends of the Ballet, the Ballet’s volunteer
force. Demetria brings her enthusiasm and drive to
RIIFF in hopes of expanding its presence in Rhode
Island and beyond. She holds a BA from Skidmore College,
a Master’s in Physiology from the University
of Hawaii, and an MBA from Pepperdine University in
California.
